Belgian Bollocks

I could be wrong about this but this is not appealing to me at all. The combination of Spielberg and Jackson is on paper a fucking dream but it's what they're doing that I'm not keen on. I never was a Tintin fan. I mean why the fuck would I like a ginger tosser who hangs around with Captain "fucking" Birdseye, two weird bowler hat wearing retards and a fucking yappy dog. Really? This interests you.

Top Films Of The Decade 2000-2009 - Part 4

Thankfully it's the final part of something that has taken me over a fucking month to get up on here. You may think I'm a lazy fucker but I think you know that I've been otherwise distracted. The trials and tribulations of life certainly challenge you from time to time. The Snake and I had our biggest fall outs over the top five but once I'd beaten him severely with his own chopped off limbs he came to his senses and agreed. Actually we had pretty much got the top five sorted straight away it was the rest that were the fucking problem. Many of you will disagree with our selection but as usual we really don't give a fuck. These are the films that to us were special either in a cinematic way or on a personnal level. So at last I give you the Top Five Films Of The Decade. Enjoy and keep your fucking opinions to yourself. Sorry no room for Potter in the top films because he's fucking shite!

Mind your ears, Pete!

As some of you may know, the world is spherical and therefore time is not a constant from one place to the next. So, even though, in the UK, we've still got a few hours of 2009 left to endure, over in New Zealand it's already 2010 (Happy New Year my Kiwi bros and hos, eh!).

Anyway, that means that the New Years Honors List has been released down-under and most notably is a knighthood for Peter Jackson. The film-writer and director, whose Lord Of The Rings Trilogy picked up 17 Oscars and whose WETA Workshop has just completed phenomenal special effects work on Avatar, is included in the list for "services to film."

Congratulations Sir Peter Jackson and Happy New Year all you 'Fuckers' out there...see you on the flip-side!

Christmas Advent Day 9

I don't give a fuck what anyone says The Lord Of The Rings was amazing. It's one of my favourite books and it's depth is genius. When Jackson announced he was bringing it to the screen I thought "this will be shit" and how are they going to fit it into film but I remember sitting and watching Fellowship on its day of release and being blown away from the opening scene which is below. Brilliant.

Lovely Bones,Lovely Poster

I know we go on about films like The Expendables and legion for 2010 but to be honest Peter Jacksons Lovely Bones is probably the film I'm waiting for the most. If it even captures half of the beauty of the book it will be something really special. Roll on January 2010 and that's me for today so don't forget to watch the live Q&A tonight at 8.30 for The Road.

Lovely Bones

I'm not overly excited by this poster but I read the book which is fucking brilliant and I love the look of the film itself. That's why this deserves its place here to remind us all to go see it.

Even More Excited Now

As I mentioned before I've just read The Lovely Bones and I was wondering how Jackson was going to capture the true esscence of the book. Well having just watched the full trailer all I can say is WOW! It looks like he could have a winner on his hands and I hope it gets an audience. See Hollywood you can do it.

The Lovely Bones

I've just finished reading this book and it is a work of genius but I was left wondering how the fuck Jackson was going to turn it into a film. ET are to screen the trailer for the first time tomorrow but here's a peak and let me tell you if he can capture even half of the emotion of the novel then this will be a classic. See Hollywood you can do original films.
