Another day, another remake

Granted, might not be the best film in the world, but for me, Stephen Dorff's 1987 film, The Gate (about two teenagers who open up a gate to hell in their back garden with the help of a dead dog and their favourite heavy metal album) is one of my earliest film memories. Special effects were fucking brilliant and it had heavy metal and miniature demons in it, what more could a growing rocker ask for? Check out the trailer above...

Anyway, Alex Winters (yeah, that's right...Bill from Bill & Ted) has just received financial backing and starts shooting the remake this summer....alright, don't all rush at once!
