Top 20 Of The Decade - Part 2
Thursday, December 17, 2009 at 02:37PM
I sometimes think life is like bobbing for apples in a bucket of shit. It may seem everything is bollocks but every so often you're brave enough to stick your head in grab an apple and shine that fucker up and take a bite. 2009 will no doubt go down in my past as my worst ever year but as 2010 approaches I find myself filling with new found strength and sometimes it's hard to see to far ahead but I have a message for you all and it's this.... however bad things may seem always believe and never give in. You may all think I'm going soft but I don't fucking care because I need to share and this is where I can do it. I'd like to thank the Snake for updating in the last few days and I hope he continues to do so as I can't promise how much input I can give right now as I start to get my life back on track. Anyway enough about me. I couldn't sleep knowing you're all desperate to find out FOF top films of the decade so here's part 2. Keep the peace friends and I hope you continue to follow us and visit the most unique film site out there and I promise you this 2010 will be the year of the Fuck Off!
15. A History Of Violence (2005)
David Cronenberg was the body horror king with the likes of Videodrome and The Fly so when he adapted this graphic novel I'm not sure what we all expected. What we didn't expect was a piece of fucking greatness as mild mannered cafe owner Tom Stall (Viggo Mortensen) becomes a hero after preventing a robbery. Little do we know that this man has a past and Cronenburg cranks up the tension before an explosion of violence that makes you flinch. Dare I say it? Fuck yeah, Cronenbergs best film.
14. Mou gaan dou (2002)
That's Internal Affairs to us Westerners and the film The Departed took it's tale of double crossing cops and gangsters from. Tony Leung, Andy Lau and Anthony Wong show us that just because it's got subtitles it doesn't mean it's not brilliant. I challenge anyone to watch this and not be stunned by it's twists and turns and then turn round and spit in The Departed's eye. This is the original and the fucking best. End of argument.
13. Casino Royale (2006)
Daniel Craig as Bond? You must be fucking joking! Oh how the fanboys wailed like a bunch of pussies and then we saw it. Bond was back! This time though he was different. People say he was a copy of Bourne but that showed how fucking little they knew. This was Flemings Bond, smooth yet rough as fuck and hard as nails. I nearly cried though when they rolled that Aston Martin! Just check out this opening in black and white. Best Bond ever? Could be and it put the fucking invisible car to rest.
12. Grindhouse (2007)
The Snake and I believe this choice will cause the most "what the fucks" out there but if you know anything about cinema you'll understand the real beauty of this film. When seen as originally intended it's a fucking masterpiece of film making and shows two directors who know movies. Missing reels, scratched film, kick ass trailers and schlock horror at it's best. You love it or hate it but we fucking love it!
11. Cidade de Deus (2002)
I leave you at the end of part 2 with the fucking classic City Of God. Two boys growing up in the violent slums of Rio de Janeiro take different paths to adulthood. Probably one of the greatest foreign films ever made and one that once watched stays with you forever. Not seen it? Just fuck off and do it now. Amazing. Just chase the fucking chicken!

Fuck yeah!
Good day, just discoverd your fucking site and must say: fucking refreshing.
The list of the last decade begins promising
Finally someone who sees Infernal affairs for what its worth. After seeing the original it is really hard to enjoy the Departed. Even though I really looked forward to Scorcese with his line-up and the story he "stole"
Casino Royale is for me one of the reasons Movies were invented. I have recently watched Cidade de deus for the second time since it's release and it blew me away even more than the first time. this is for me probably the no. 1. What a great fucking storytelling, what a great fucking camera job!!!
Glad to see there are fuckers out there with another opinion than the standard fucking shite.
Will keep on following you
