The Road Review By Drunkenmaster

As promised here is the review of The Road which you can have a read of after this. I attended a screening of this on Wednesday night at the Cine City festival in Brighton. It was followed by a live Q&A with director John Hillcoat and composer Nick Cave which I'll give you a link to in the near future if you want to take a look. I just want to say a big thankyou to everybody who made it a good night, sorting out tickets, the camera ladies and the fantastic Duke Of Yorks cinema in Brighton. If you're ever down that way get yourself there as it's a proper cinema showing proper films. Finally to the whiney bitch sat next to me during the Q&A.... one day something will happen in your life that will make you realise that somethings are important and some things just aren't but for now you can just fuck off. Everybody else, thanks again.

as bourgeois as they are, picturehouse cinemas rule. <3 the DoY
It's such a sad thing that Multiplexes have taken away the real face of cinema. I would love to see a return to the old fashioned picture houses showing good independent cinema but sadly all people want his CGI and action now.
