The Hobbit - Secrets Revealed

guillermo-del-toro.jpgThe Lord Of The Rings trilogy was shit, yes it was epic with some great effects but it was fucking boring. Three times I sat in the cinema and each time I felt less happy about being alive. Anyway when they announced The Hobbit, a book I read and loved as a kid I was worried it would be the same boring shit but it was announced that the super talented director Guillermo del Toro, the man behind the Hellboy franchise and Pans Labyrinth would be behind the camera and I knew we were onto a winner. Well Rotten Tomatoes has an interview with Del Toro where he reveals some secrets of the upcoming film:

"[The Hobbit is] a very different book than the trilogy," he explained. "It's a book that's written from a start of innocence and an ending of disappointment. The ending is quite bittersweet and melancholic. The Hobbit as a self-contained movie will have its own personality."
